Cycling & Sailing
Experience the Hjørundfjord from both land and sea. We rent out bikes and are happy to suggest good routes.
We drop off and pick up cyclists at different locations around the fjord, so you can cycle one way without needing to return the same route.

A varied route with both fjord views and traces of history.
Finnes – Viddal
A peaceful and scenic stretch deep inside the fjord.
Bondalen – Sæbø – Holen – Sæbø

Extreme route: Sæbø – Bondalseidet – Follestaddalen – Standal
Return by boat from Standal to Sæbø. A demanding but spectacular experience.

Boat to Skår followed by a short and rewarding hike to Skårasætra, with stunning views in all directions.

A beautiful boat trip to Bjørke, then an easy hike to the shelter at Vikefjellet with panoramic views.
Molaupen – Strandabøen
A walk between two old, abandoned fjord farms – a journey through unique cultural landscapes.

Challenging hikes
Maradalen
A spectacular valley with a high‑mountain lake beneath the Sunnmøre Alps. A hidden gem known by few. From here you can cross Breifonnhornet and descend to Urke.
Stålberghornet – extreme
We drop you off at Gallesteinane in the middle of the fjord. From here, the climb to mighty Stålberghornet begins. Suitable only for those experienced with steep and demanding terrain.
